Our Story
Indiana Built. Family Owned.
We're not a national franchise or a big-box contractor. We're a family-owned barn building company rooted in Rushville, Indiana — and we've been doing this work the right way for over 30 years.
How It Started
The Barn Builders was founded on a simple belief: that a barn should be built the same way you'd build anything for your own family — with quality materials, honest craftsmanship, and a handshake you can trust.
What started as a small crew taking on local farm projects in Rush County has grown into one of Indiana's most trusted post-frame construction companies. We've built hundreds of barns, pole buildings, horse facilities, and barndominiums across the state — and every single one was built with the same care as the first.
We're still family-run. We still answer our own phones. And we still show up on time and do what we say we're going to do. That hasn't changed — and it never will.
